Job Description: We are seeking a driven and analytical Junior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our growing e-commerce bedding products company. As part of a three-person team, you will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive our business forward. This position offers significant growth potential for the right candidate.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Track and analyze costs for nearly 6,000 SKUs of products
  • Build and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets, utilizing advanced features such as macros
  • Develop and manage Power BI dashboards to visualize key business metrics
  • Analyze profitability and recommend pricing strategies across multiple e-commerce platforms
  • Collaborate with team members to collect data and execute on company mission
  • Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains
  • Assist in forecasting using tools like Slim stock
  • Provide analytical support for decision-making across various departments


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Internship experience in business analytics, preferably in e-commerce or retail
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including experience with complex formulas and macros.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau)
  • Basic understanding of SQL
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana) is a plus
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Keen interest in e-commerce and retail analytics


Desirable Certifications:

  • Microsoft Power BI Certification
  • Excel Expert Certification
  • Tableau Desktop Specialist
  • SQL Certification (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server certification)
  • ERP experience (SAP, NetSuite)
