Human Resources Coordinator

Our client at LHH is looking for a Bilingual Spanish speaking HR Coordinator to join their growing team.

As an HR Coordinator in our manufacturing environment, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating human resources activities in our plant. We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented individual who can effectively work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Spanish and English, with strong communication skills and cultural understanding to interact with a diverse workforce.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate recruitment and selection processes to fill vacancies in the plant, from posting job openings to interviewing and selecting candidates.
2. Maintain and update employee records, including personal data, attendance records, performance evaluations, and training records.
3. Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, wellness programs, and other benefits as needed.
4. Serve as the main point of contact for employees with HR-related inquiries, providing guidance and support on labor and administrative issues.
5. Collaborate with department managers to address employee training and development needs, facilitating the implementation of training programs.
6. Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures, as well as local and national labor regulations.
7. Prepare periodic reports on HR metrics, such as turnover, job satisfaction, and absenteeism.
8. Contribute to promoting a positive and collaborative work environment, fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
9. Participate in resolving labor conflicts and effectively manage labor relations to promote a harmonious work environment.

Qualifications

• BSc/BA in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred

• 2+ years’ experience in Human Resources background

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
