Our client is a consumer electronics manufacturer. They are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join their team. The role is a CONTRACT position. Position will be ONSITE. Candidate must be able to commute onsite to Milpitas, CA.


*6 month contract assignment + possible extension*


Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator will have the opportunity to interact with a range of stakeholders across the full supply chain on a daily basis. From external buyers to accounts payable, factories, internal hub management and staff, and international factories, they will be able to leverage their exceptional communication skills. Their ability to build relationships, communicate effectively and tactfully, and exercise diplomacy will be essential in this role.


The ideal candidate is knowledgeable and experienced in the full fulfillment cycle, familiar with SAP, and passionate about enhancing logistics team processes and streamlining efficiencies. We're looking for someone with a can-do attitude, who will hit the ground running and make an immediate impact on the team and our business.


Duties:

  • Ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations on a daily basis
  • Create, change, and manage sales orders, delivery notes, and invoices
  • Oversee warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory reconciliation
  • Maintain effective communication with external stakeholders, including hubs and international factories
  • Manage inventory and ensure compliance with import/export processes, such as customs clearance and claims for inventory loss or damage
  • Handle vendor claims negotiation and intercompany AR/AP transactions
  • Perform billing and A/R reconciliations
  • Maintain SAP master data and other systems as needed
  • Adapt to and complete additional duties as assigned by management


Requirements:

  • 3 - 5 years of experience working in the logistic coordination field with a demonstrated track record of successful operation
  • Experience working with electronic data using systems to manage logistics, such as warehousing or transportation, import/export, customs
  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, operations engineering, supply chain management or relevant field with similar experience
  • Excellent Microsoft office skills required
  • SAP (ERP) knowledge strongly preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including tactful and efficient communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to find solutions in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously, maintaining attention to detail
  • Creative thinking skills to enhance processes and streamline inefficiencies
  • Working knowledge of the electronic goods industry
