Commercial HVACR EstimatorWe are seeking an HVAC/R Estimator to become a part of our team. You will be responsible for all aspects of HVAC estimating which includes utilizing information, data, and photos/videos to perform job site walks to acquire necessary information for, and organizing vendor information to compile accurate estimates for potential commercial HVAC/R projects. This candidate must be well organized, hand-on, self-motivated and dependable with the drive to succeed in a challenging and fast paced environment.What's in it for you?Hourly Pay rate: $25-33/hrWeekly Pay StructureComprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision CoverageMatching 401K for Retirement SavingsGenerous Paid Time Off (PTO): 12 days annuallyPaid HolidaysPaid Birthday OffResponsibilities:Accurately estimate plan/spec and design/build HVAC systems using computer estimating systems and other related softwareMaintain estimating logs and unit costs for all projectsEstablish and maintain vendor relationshipsPerform site surveys and attend pre-bid walkthroughsInteract with the HVAC & project management teams to ensure all projects are performed within budget & according to plans and specificationsCollecting information about the client's business needs and goals, including square footage requirements, desired temperature range, ventilation requirements, etc.Calculating the cost of materials & labor required to complete the project, including taxes and fees to ensure we maintain required marginsCreating an estimate of materials & labor costs based on the scope of the job, including any materials that need to be purchased & any equipment that needs to be rented or purchasedPreparing proposals for projects according to scope and cost for Outside Sales RepsCommunicating regularly with HVAC Trades Manager and Field Supervisors to provide updates on project progress & address any concerns or issuesQualifications:7+ years of Commercial HVAC Experience is requiredAbility to read and comprehend blueprints and other construction documentsKnowledge of different types of HVAC systems and their componentsPossess strong verbal and written communication skills; must be able to hear and speak clearly with professional standard grammar.Experience with Service Titan and estimating systems preferredThorough understanding of related trade for the purposes of coordinating various project estimatesWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office productsDeadline and detail-orientedMust be able to hear and speak clearly with professional standard grammar.Ability to work well in a collaborative environmentJob Type: Full-time Join us at Frank Gay Commercial, where every day is an opportunity to shine and grow alongside a dynamic team committed to excellence.
