Transportation Management Center Transportation Analyst IIWSP is currently initiating a search for a Transportation Management Center Transportation Analyst II (ITS Mobile Asset Specialist) for our Long Island - Hauppauge, NY office. Be involved in projects with our Mobility Operations Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.Your ImpactAssist TMC to follow client Notification and Reporting Protocol and assist the Office of Operations and Incident Command TeamInterface with client staff, TMC partner agencies and other agencies and organizations to ensure the TMC has accurate and updated mobile ITS asset inventory to report to client management and StatewideInventory the operational status of ITS equipmentAttend meetings at NYSDOT or other agency offices to become familiar with special event coordination as it pertains to ITS assetsEstablish and maintain working relationships with transportation information contactsCoordination with client staff, TMC partner agencies, other NYC offices and agencies and 511 will be necessary to gather information related to mobile ITS system disruptionsContinually update and optimize critical incident and event information sharing among TMC partners and involved parties throughout special eventsDevelop and maintain a list of critical incident contacts names and phone numbers, and set up lists, tables, and procedures as necessary to prepare inspectors and management for the reporting of critical asset incidents and special event informationAssist in the planning of safe and visible locations for PVMS when applicableMaintain a database which tracks equipment tickets including when tickets are opened, updated, and closedPrepare and process records related to JTMC field equipmentProven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policiesRequired Qualifications:High School DiplomaTMC, ITS devices, and geographical knowledge of Long Island roadways7+ years of NYSDOT operations experience in TMC/Traffic operations/emergency operations with any of the following groups: Military, Transportation, Fire, Police, EMS, 911, regional/state DOT operationsData Analysis including system evaluations and predictability/performances evaluation Office applications, spreadsheets and databases Public, internal and external relations (works well with internal, external and partner groups and individuals) Analytical and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal skills with an ability to work with others in a team environmentPerforming multiple tasks simultaneously and independentlyExercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.WSP Benefits:WSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits focused on providing health and financial stability throughout the employee's career.
