Senior Manager, FP&A Marketing & DigitalThe Senior Manager, FP&A Marketing & Digital will be responsible for the overall budgeting, forecasting, planning, and analysis for The Children's Place Marketing, Digital/ECOMM, Wholesale (Amazon), and International businesses. This leader will build, motivate, and develop a team of finance professionals to efficiently provide sound financial analysis that will affect decision-making throughout the business.Responsibilities:Key Accountabilities:Partner with key leaders of the business including VP's of Marketing & Amazon, to deliver on company-wide strategic initiativesOverall responsibility for annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, planning, analysis, and internal business reportingManage marketing expenses to ensure the teams stay within the approved budget; identify any risk/opportunities to the business and communicate to managementAnalyze business metrics related to the marketing department including ROASConsolidation and analysis of the full Amazon business P&L including components of Sales, Gross Margin, and Operating IncomeOversight of financial planning system implementation, maintenance, and enhancements to accurately consolidate, report, and provide meaningful analysis of multi-division results, forecasts, and business reviewsServe as contact to Senior Leadership team regarding both the detail and overall context of these numbers with the ability to present information in an organized and confident fashion to executive managementCollaborate with other business functions to identify & execute on business enhancement opportunitiesLead a team of managers and analysts, delegating work & priorities and supporting career developmentProactively identify & execute on areas where process improvement is neededPrepare weekly, monthly & quarterly reports and analysesPrepare ad hoc reporting & analysis projects as neededResponsible for strategic initiatives including:Cost saving initiativesIntegrating acquisitions on a global basisCreating business alignment between divisionsPersonnel development, succession planning and the creation of an exceptional finance team are criticalAbility to streamline and reengineer existing processes to maximize efficiencyIdentifying, scoping and delivering on special projects and ad-hoc requestsEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business EconomicsMasters and/or CPA preferred5+ years experience in both an operational/divisional finance leadership role in a multi-divisional companySignificant experience in an FP&A role within a publicly traded, multi-national dynamic businessBackground or significant knowledge of accounting beneficialExperience working in a matrix environment strongly preferredFP&A experience in corporate retail preferredMust be highly motivated & able to operate at a high level amid a fast-paced & dynamic work cultureComfortable offering an open & objective perspective to executive leadershipAbility to synthesize information across different areas of the business in order to be a thought partner with business leadersExcellent communication skills -- verbal, written, and financial exhibitsServant-leadership mentality, both in regard to business partners as well as direct reportsMust be proactive, detail oriented and a problem-solver intent on offering process improvement solutionsSkills and Behaviors:Excellent analytical skills; experience integrating acquisitions helpfulExceptional leadership skills and desire to build and develop a succession plan that benefits employees and the companyAbility to uncover business problems/opportunities and to recommend effective solutions quicklyExcellent verbal and written skills and ability to communicate effectively, and gain respect of, executive management both in the finance and business operations groupsResults driven with an emphasis on innovation and effective change managementMS Office environment including Excel and Access and ability to translate and present reports effectivelyExperience implementing and enhancing financial reporting systems such as Hyperion and/or OracleHourly/Salary:$125,000.00 - $175,000.00 Benefits include: Bonus eligible (depending on role), Paid Time Off, Employee Discount, 401(k) and company match, Wellness Reimbursement, Adoption Assistance, free backup care (for kids, pets & the elderly), choice of health insurance plans, company-paid life/AD&D, short and long term disability, a variety of voluntary benefits and an employee assistance program.
