Our client, a premier supplier of exhaust gas silencers, piping and after-treatment components, is seeking a direct hire, Mechanical Drafter to be onsite, in Northfield, MN. 

Job Title: Mechanical Drafter

Location: Northfield, MN 55057

Pay Range: $30/HR + depending on experience 

What’s the Job?

• This person will be supporting their high volume of quotes – cranking out detailed drawings for approval. Additional skills are a plus and they could have a higher-level position such as designing new products and customization of existing products if they are have further qualifications

What’s Needed?

• Understanding of sheet metal fabrication
• Understanding of Welding
• Understanding of dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) standards
• Highly proficient in SolidWorks
• Good communication and presentation skills
• The desire to grow in their role and responsibilities

Onsite/Hybrid: Would be onsite for first couple months to get up to speed but then could work out a hybrid schedule.
