Parking Cashier Colorado Springs AirportPosition: Parking Cashier Location: Colorado Municipal Airport Pay: $15.16 an hour Shift: Every other Thursday (7am to 3pm) Saturday and Sunday (7am to 3pm)The Parking Cashier is responsible for operating a specified parking lot by performing cash transactions and providing excellent customer service. The Cashier ensures proper ticket handling and guest payments while delivering service that exceeds our customer/client's expectations. The Cashier is responsible for taking payments and assisting guests as they enter or exit the property. The Cashier works closely with fellow team members, Operation Manager, and/or Shift Supervisor to ensure that cash handling procedures as well as safety standards are met at all times.

Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for performing cash transactions with accuracy and precisionKeeping your cash organized and knowing what you have on handEnsuring your cash and tickets are sorted throughout the dayPreparing your cash control/summary sheets with accuracy and neatnessReporting all overages and shortagesMaking sure you plan ahead to have adequate change on handCompleting all Reimagined documents completely, accurately and neatlyResponsible for keeping work environment neat and organized at all timesCleaning and organizing the interior of boothCleaning the booth windowsEnsuring the signage and equipment on the lot is continuously wiped down and free of vandalism and graffitiWalking through the parking lot and picking up any excess garbage and changing bags in garbage cansEnsuring supplies are properly stacked and organized at all timesResponsible for maintaining a safe and secure work environmentEnsuring the windows and doors are locked and cash is taken with you if you have to leave the booth for any reasonSecuring your monies and control sheets by putting them in a deposit bag and keeping it secure prior to their depositReport all odd occurrences or strange persons on the lot to your supervisor immediatelyResponsible for being punctual and ensuring that your timecard is punched at the beginning and end of your shiftAdhering to the Reimagined Parking dress code for proper attire and groomingResponsible for adhering to all company policies and proceduresResolving customer complaints quickly and efficientlyProviding exceptional customer service by being pleasant, courteous and helpful to customersGreet arriving and departing guests in a friendly and courteous mannerUse respectful communication to assist guests with their questions, problems, and concerns; relay information to shift or Operations Manager as necessaryIssue and or collect visitor parking ticketsMatch visitor ticket forms when original tickets cannot locatedComplete shift/daily reconciliation of receipts, cash, and charges; accurately account for all funds within cashier drawerPerform revenue drops following specific location proceduresMaintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area in and around the cashier's boothAnswers telephone in a prompt and courteous manner, when requiredImmediately report any accidents, incidents or safety concerns to Operations Manager or Shift LeadCommunicate professionally at all times with guests, client, and teammatesOther duties as may be assignedSkills, Knowledge and ExpertiseExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to verbally communicate with guestsAbility to learn quickly and use sound decision making to thrive in fast-paced environmentsAt least 18 years of ageBasic math skillsExperience with cash handling is an assetPrevious customer service experience, preferredBenefitsJoin our team and enjoy an outstanding benefits package, including:Generous Paid Time Off: Enjoy 10 days of paid time off, plus 8 paid holidays, so you can rest and recharge.
