Job Description

The Demand Planner will be responsible for creating and maintain the Kitchen Cabinet Distributors (KCD) sales forecast for all items. In addition, this role will participate in the KCD Sales and Operations Planning meetings monthly. Finally, this role will be the backup for the Supply Chain Analyst daily tasks.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain NetSuite data integrity through data cleansing, validation processes, and ad-hoc checks.
  • Create and maintain KCD Supply Chain forecast at multiple levels of hierarchy including Item, location, customer, and product line.
  • Lead KCD monthly Sales and Marketing S&OP Meeting.
  • Execute overseas deployments of purchase orders to KCD Distribution Centers.
  • Maintain KCD inbound container schedule for all distribution centers.
  • Back up the Director of Planning and Procurement for all buying activities with the overseas factories.
  • Back up the Supply Chain analyst on all daily activities including Billing, KCD container process and domestic purchasing.
  • Other duties may be assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management or Minimum 2 years of relevant operations or finance experience in sales and operations planning, supply and demand planning, plant operations, logistics, and/or inventory management preferred.
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic and ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to organize, manage, and prioritize multiple tasks to assure timely completion in a constantly changing environment.
  • Experience in ERP systems. NetSuite experience preferred.
  • Experience in Demand Planning Software
  • Ability to demonstrate advanced proficiency in Excel techniques and statistical analysis.
  • Proficient with MS Office.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation). Ability to present information to cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrates high personal integrity and teamwork abilities.
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, and able to see problems and recommend or take appropriate actions to solve them, ability to work in detail and be result oriented.
