Mechanical Piping ForemanWe're seeking a strong mechanical piping foreman who is willing to permanently relocate to our growing Charlotte, NC market.Are you ready to make an impact? As Power Design expands into mechanical work, we are looking for a Pipefitter Foreman to play a critical leadership role in the success of our new projects. This means we'll need someone to ensure all projects maintain a high level of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. To top it off, you'll not only have access to innovative technologies in the field including fully-equipped iPads but you'll also travel to our 16,000-square-foot training facility for customized training courses at our headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida. Apply todayPosition ResponsibilitiesWork closely with project Superintendent and other trades, oversee the assigned scope, including the management of material and manpowerAccountable for enforcing and promoting high quality and safety standardsUtilize technology such as company-provided iPad and smartphone to ensure the job gets done on time and exceeds customer expectationsSupervise, mentor, and motivate employees working on designated scopeHere's What We're Looking ForOSHA 30 certification preferred.Experience with Hydronic piping systems, Chiller, Boiler, Water Source Heat Pump refrigeration systems.Progressive Mechanical, HVAC, or Plumbing leaders who love using technology and want a clear career pathSkilled field supervisor with at least five years of experience managing a scope and running multimillion-dollar projectsActive journeyman or master Mechanical or Plumbing license preferredProficient knowledge of the IMC, IPC, and IBC Standards; local codes; and construction safety requirementsKnowledge in Managing Plumbing Systems and / or HVAC Air distribution systems a plus.Familiarity with project management and construction technology applications such as Bluebeam, ProCore, BIM 360, CrewConnect, FieldWire, and/or Open Space preferredFlexibility to travel to other Power Design project sites as needed within the state of Florida preferredDemonstrate and uphold all of Power Design's core values, which include integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and growth
