Youth Counselor Compensation: Min base rate: $17.00 (with BA); additional adjustment for related experience.

Youth Counselors help our kids:

• Develop positive relationships
• Learn to cope with loss and/or emotional issues
• Develop valuable life skills
• Receive needed support through treatment

Other Youth Counselor experiences:

• Participate in collaborative team meetings
• Develop and run therapeutic peer groups
• Promote emotional intelligence, open communication, social responsibility, and more

Youth Counselor Schedule:

• 2nd shift schedule options
• Consistent, consecutive days on and off
• 5-day schedule

Youth Counselor Requirements:

• Must be 21 or older
• Must have patience, sensitivity, and effective communication skills
• Ability to respectfully interact with and influence kids
• Ability to obtain required clearances

Youth Counselor Qualifications: BA in Psychology, Social Work, Education or related field preferred.
