DIVISION:

CorporatePOSITION SUMMARYThe Sr. Benefits Analyst oversees the implementation and coordination of the company‘s health and welfare benefits, including retirement plans within the Total Reward programs; analyzing trends, program performance, budget, and utilization; and monitoring vendor relationships and team member satisfaction in alignment with Total Reward strategies developed to support U.S. Venture‘s people- first culture.

This position can work on a hybrid work schedule in the Appleton, WI area.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Assists in establishing welfare benefits strategy, principles, governance, best practices, and framework for selected programs

  • Deploys, and executes benefit initiatives per the Total Rewards strategy

  • Liaises with leadership, legal, management, HR Business Partners, Payroll, Finance/Accounting/Treasury as well as other internal and external stakeholders to bring appropriate benefits solutions that meet the needs of various employee populations

  • Reviews program effectiveness using benefits data from HRIS, global and local brokers, consultants, or other sources to help make recommendations related to employee benefits within the organization

  • Investigates different approaches to add value and contain costs as well as identify areas of opportunity for improvement and streamline daily processes, presenting recommendations to management

  • Benchmark offerings by other employers

  • Administers Company‘s Total Reward programs

  • Execute project or implementation plans for changes to existing or launches of new Total Reward programs

  • Provides guidance to other analysts on the delivery of TR programs

  • Provides guidance to HR business partners in the execution of TR programs

  • Optimizes systems, tools, and technologies that support benefit plans and programs

  • Responds to inquiries from team members, delivering excellent customer service

  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and execute all regulatory filings including 5500s, summary plan descriptions, notices, summary annual reports, ACA forms, nondiscrimination testing and other mandated disclosures

  • Creates manager and team member communication and training with an emphasis on consumerism

  • Executes the annual open benefits enrollment process, assisting team members with their elections

  • Develops and manages content for virtual new hire orientation and intranet site

  • Manages vendor relationships through on-going performance monitoring

  • Prepares reporting, eligibility files and related records, conducts audits and reconciliations, updates dashboard metrics

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

* Bachelor‘s degree with emphasis in human resources, finance, or business management

* 5+ years of related benefit or relevant experience

* Strong knowledge of total rewards practices including benefit laws and regulations to drive strategy, philosophy, and compliance efforts

* Project management and negotiation skills

* Excellent research and analytical and diagnostic problem-solving skills; highly proficient in Excel and HRIS report writing

* Ability to drive for results and achieve goals through direct/indirect influence

* Strong relationship building, interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

* Self-directed and able to manage multiple programs and projects

* Ability to travel to locations, training, etc. as needed; 10%

Preferred:

* CEBS, CBP or related designations highly desirable
