The team is dedicated to inspiring better business performance and helping clients focus on their core businesses.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Strategic Category Management Planning & DeliveryEngage stakeholders to understand business requirements.Develop and recommend category plans for Manager review.Implement category plansSourcing StrategyDevelop and recommend sourcing strategies that maximize value and mitigate risks to the company and its clients. Submits to Manager for review.Implement sourcing strategyOpportunities Assessment & ImplementationLeads and performs opportunities assessment activities and drives leverage across all client accounts.Achieve improvements in operational efficiencies and cost savings as a resultCompetitive BidsExecutes end-to-end competitive bid process for assigned categories.Negotiates with suppliers to secure optimum cost and maximum valueSupplier Performance Measurement & ManagementIdentifies and implements performance metrics to measure supplier performance.Measures and manages supplier performance.Responsible for supplier performance for assigned categories and reports on supplier sustainabilitySupplier Relationship ManagementDevelops and maintains effective relationships with suppliersSupplier Contractual AgreementsNegotiate, develop, implement, amend and monitor supplier contractual agreementsStrategic Sourcing Best Practices & Industry TrendsMaintains in-depth and current category knowledge as well as knowledge of strategic sourcing best practices and industry trendsProvides category and strategic sourcing subject matter expertiseVendor Qualification & Set Up ProcessReviews and approves vendor set up and vendor information changesSupportDevelops maintains standard templates for strategic sourcing documentations including but not limited to contract agreements, scopes of work, service level agreements, and letters of agreementsReviews and approves purchase ordersSpecial ProjectsSpecial projects as assignedOther duties as assigned.MINIMUM EDUCATION: University graduation or professional certificationJOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE: More than two years up to three yearsKnowledge & SkillsKnowledge of strategic sourcing requirements and practices. Maintains current knowledgeAbility to develop and execute category management strategies and plansAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to develop and execute supplier contract agreementsAdvanced analytical and problem solving skillsComputer proficiency in MS Office applications.
