Job Title: Sales Engineer

Summary:
As a Sales Engineer at our aerospace rubber manufacturing company, you will be crucial in supporting our sales initiatives by providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the sales process. Your primary duties will include reviewing technical drawings, creating part layups, and managing the documentation necessary for successful project execution. Additionally, you will be responsible for reviewing and signing off Purchase Orders (POs) and Statements of Work (SOWs) in accordance with company policies and customer requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Technical Review: Analyze customer-provided drawings and specifications to ensure alignment with our manufacturing capabilities and standards.
- Part Layups: Create detailed part layups based on engineering drawings and customer requirements, ensuring accuracy and feasibility in production.
- Documentation Management: Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and Statements of Work (SOWs) in collaboration with sales and operations teams, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
- Customer Engagement: Collaborate closely with customers and internal teams to address technical inquiries, provide solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
- Project Coordination: Facilitate communication between sales, engineering, and production teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of: MS Office software and internet usage. Familiarity with ERP or CRM systems for managing sales and project documentation is preferred.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a technical sales or engineering role within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of aerospace materials, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
- Experience with rubber manufacturing processes and materials preferred.
- Certification or training in project management methodologies preferred (e.g., PMP).
