Job Requisition: LPNCL001085 Employment Type: Per Diem Shift: Rotating Hours Per Week: 0-hour week Location- St Johnsville Urgent Care/Float Hiring Range: $ 23.26 - $30.50 The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law. Responsibilities: • Contributes to the assessment of patients and assures the well-being of patients. • Administers medications and observes patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments. • Performs laboratory tests and therapeutic services. • Educates patients/families about disease treatment plan including self care post discharge, holistic health needs, available resources and follow up care. Complexity of Work: • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment. Personal Protective Equipment: • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Required Credential(s): • BLS Provider obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date. • Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the New York Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Required Skills and Attributes: Ability to organize and establish day-to-day priorities while using critical thinking skills in all aspects of the job. Must be able to multitask while remaining professional, focused, composed and positive. Excellent customer service skills Displays integrity, friendliness, and compassion. Must be able to establish an appropriate and effective rapport with others.
