Piper Companies is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for a top-tier healthcare technology organization based in Morrisville, NC . This role is ideal for a seasoned engineer with deep expertise in .NET , JavaScript frameworks , and cloud platforms , who can lead development efforts on a modern Azure-based microservices architecture . This is a Contract-to-Hire position requiring on-site presence 3 days per week in Raleigh, NC . Responsibilities of the Senior Software Engineer: Lead end-to-end development using .NET Core, C#, Angular, and React, delivering scalable and maintainable software solutions. Provide architectural direction and technical leadership on complex initiatives, driving innovation and ensuring high-quality deliverables. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define objectives, set technical standards, and support strategic planning and execution. Analyze system performance and implement optimizations to enhance scalability and efficiency. Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices to uphold code quality standards. Qualifications of the Senior Software Engineer: 7+ years of hands-on software development experience, including 3+ years in a senior engineering role focused on .NET and JavaScript technologies. Demonstrated experience building cloud-native applications on Azure or AWS, with familiarity in services like Blob Storage. Strong grasp of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and system architecture, with practical experience in React, Angular, TypeScript, and ASP.NET Web Forms. Skilled in SQL and database technologies, including Cosmos DB, SQL Server, or Oracle. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, microservices, Agile methodologies, and cloud security best practices.
