Were a family-run company built on integrity, hard work, and doing things right the first time.Position OverviewWe are seeking an Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist who knows their way around numbers and understands the importance of keeping financials accurate and balanced. This person will manage daily transactions, handle vendor and customer accounts, and ensure everything reconciles down to the penny. Youll also assist with general office duties, including occasional overflow phone calls and light administrative tasks.ResponsibilitiesProcess vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and schedule paymentsManage customer billing, deposits, credits, and collectionsReconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank statementsIdentify and correct discrepancies to ensure accounts balance accuratelyMaintain organized digital records of all financial transactionsPrepare simple reports and assist with month-end closingCommunicate professionally with vendors and customers to resolve billing issuesCollaborate with purchasing, sales, and management to maintain consistent financial dataAnswer and route overflow phone calls when needed to support the office teamRequirementsMinimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or bookkeepingProficient in QuickBooks Online (experience with Acumatica a plus)Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 skillsSolid understanding of reconciliation and balancing processesExceptional attention to detail and accuracyReliable, organized, and self-motivatedStrong communication skills and a team-oriented attitudePreferred ExperiencePrior work in a manufacturing or construction environmentFamiliarity with ERP systemsUnderstanding of sales tax processes and reportingWhat We OfferCompetitive pay based on experience ($22$25 per hour range)Supportive, family-oriented work environmentOpportunity for growth as our company continues to expandPride in representing a company that stands for quality and American craftsmanshipTo ApplyTo be considered for an interview, you must email your cover letter and resume to cheryl@flagpolesetc.com.
