Apply today We look forward to meeting you.The RoleDevelops, maintains, and ensures compliance with quality assurance programs, policies, processes, procedures and that the performance and quality of products conform to established standards, specifications, and agency guidelines. Provides expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, regulatory and/or governmental regulations, and agency guidelines to assure compliance. Works directly with operating entities to ensure that inspections, process control analyses or audits are conducted on a continuing basis as specified to enforce requirements and meet specifications. Ensures the quality assurance programs and policies are maintained and modified regularly. Establishes and ensures that inspections are conducted prior to the processing of raw materials, ingredients, product and package specifications, frequently at vendor/supplier locations. May serve as liaison between the company and the various governmental agencies.Must HaveBachelor's Degree and 6 years of applicable, progressive professional and/or supervisory work experience; Masters Degree and 4 years of relevant experience.One of the following may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree to meet minimum qualifications:NNS Apprentice School graduateNavy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduateAssociate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experienceMilitary Paygrade E-5 or above military experienceHigh School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experienceHigh School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experienceNice to HaveWhy HII We build the world's most powerful, survivable naval ships and defense technology solutions that safeguard our seas, sky, land, space and cyber.
