Client Job Summary:


The Senior Business Systems Analyst and Development is responsible for designing and managing client interfaces between enterprise applications, overseeing data engineering and connectivity while working with business stakeholders to improve the application environment within the tech stack. This person will think strategically about integrating, aggregating, and warehousing the client's data.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

  • Responsible for performing analysis and reporting on large aggregated (finance, macroeconomic, aviation-specific) datasets
  • Oversee Asset Management and CRM software to support, manage, and develop priority enhancements
  • Provide software development within key company initiatives to improve the company software stack
  • Oversee APIs/ETLs; developing integration/modeling scripts and process automation
  • Manage the IT budget and spend as it relates to development, ensuring analysis, cost-effective management of resources and deployment and investments in technology
  • Responsible for multiple IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for new systems and enhancements to existing ones



QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent experience
  • 8-15 years of technology/development experience
  • Strong database skills in either MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL, preferably in a cloud environment
  • Deep knowledge of a complimentary scripting language (Python, R)
  • Experience within the aircraft leasing space is preferred (Leaseworks)
  • Experience with Salesforce platform and development is a plus
  • Proven interpersonal and leadership skills to lead the introduction and implementation of technology strategy and operations
  • Knowledge of modern data architectures, data structures (structured and unstructured), analytical tools, data optimization techniques, and data warehouse design
  • Willingness and desire to keep up with new cloud technologies, languages, standards, and practices
  • Strong communication skills, and enjoyment of problem-solving, modeling, and analytics is preferred
