Position Description

This is a staff augmentation role government contractor working at the Savannah River Site (SRS) with the Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS), under the Department of Energy (DoE). You would be a fulltime employee of TechSource.

About this contract:

  • 1-year with opportunity for 2-3 year extension
  • 100% onsite to SRNS
  • Monday-Thursday from 6:00 am - 4:30 pm

Required

  • 2-10+ years of experience, depending on the level of education
  • Proficiency in the use of automated accounting, budgeting, cost schedule management and estimating systems as tools
  • Entry level knowledge and understanding of cost and schedule control at the tactical level is necessary, along with a working knowledge of operations, maintenance, project management, project startup, construction and engineering
  • Identify critical path activities and recommend to management modifications needed to work plans to maintain schedule and to meet or improve milestone dates and other dates of completion or mitigate potential problems or constraints to continued progress.
  • An ability to obtain and maintain a level Q security clearance
  • An ability to come onsite 5 days a week

Preferred

  • Knowledge of materials planning, time and cost estimating may be required depending on the specialty assigned
  • Earned Value Management System (EVMS) certification
  • Candidates who have possessed an active DOE clearance (‘Q‘) within the past two years are preferred.
