Electrical Assistant Project ManagerNEXT Electric, LLC is seeking a full-time Electrical Assistant Project Manager in Madison, Wisconsin. This role assists project managers to ensure continuity and efficiency of each project from start to finish. The position involves visiting various construction sites and interacting with crew, customers, leaders, and general contractors to ensure jobs are running as expected. The candidate will review estimates with estimators prior to submittal to customer to ensure accuracy, assist in managing productivity of craft workers and efficient use of materials/equipment, and overall contractual performance of projects. The role also includes contacting vendors to obtain materials for projects, providing technical assistance, i.e. interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods, equipment, etc. and tracking and reporting project status updates to project managers. The position promotes a safe working environment for all work activities.Qualifications:1 or more years' experience in construction/electrical project management supportBachelors degree in Construction Management or Business preferredAccubid experience preferredKnowledge of National Electric Code (NEC)Proficiency in use of PC and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word)Strong mathematical skillsExperience reading, analyzing, and interpreting complex documentsSuccessfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles, and drug-test as may be required per federal or client contract, or DOT policy.Company Overview: NEXT Electric, LLC, a partially-owned subsidiary of IES Commercial, Inc. - Commercial & Industrial Division of IES Holdings, Inc.
