Responsibilities:

  • Establish material and equipment budget
  • Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures.
  • Overall Supplier performance
  • Key market impacts on supply
  • Inventory
  • Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency.
  • Develop precise hard cost budgets.
  • Collaborate with regional and national teams to revise estimates and budgets as necessary.
  • Lead price negotiations with division-specific partners.
  • Oversee capacity planning for divisional preferred partners and assist with national and regional capacity planning.
  • Recruit, hire, train, develop, and manage the divisional Purchasing team.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with division-specific trade partners.
  • Phase out underperforming trade partners.
  • Keep the Regional Director of Purchasing and Division President updated on critical market conditions, capacity, and forecasts.


Qualifications:

  • BA/BS (business related area preferred)
  • Coordinate and supervise all aspects of purchasing and material planning.
  • Excellent negotiating, analytical and communication skills, both verbal & written
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and adjust to changing priorities and short deadlines
  • Must be able to work independently and also in a hard-working, supportive team.
