Salary: $85k-100k

A leading manufacturer of industrial equipment - design, build, installation from concept to completion - is looking for a Project Engineer to train and groom for Project Management in the next 2-3 years. This person will initially be involved in system design, sizing and selecting of equipment for entire production lines, (ovens, material handling, feeders etc...) and will be involved in the engineering that goes into producing a fully function, automated system.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the design and development of the equipment and related equipment.
  • Taking part in the installation and commissioning team for delivering the finished system.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients and collaborate with vendors; working with the manufacturing, fabrication, assembly team as well as outside vendors as needed. (sheet metal, enclosures, etc..)
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets related to project management.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 3-5 years of project engineering experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Experience with Capex / Capital Expenditure projects, Operating Expenditure projects or Installation of new production lines.
  • 3D modeling / Solidworks experience
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A desire to move into Project Management; PMP certification is a plus but not required.
