PeopleShare has the perfect Shipping Clerk role for youShipping Clerk Job Details:Schedule: 6:00pm-6:00amSunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday 6pm-6am and rotating Saturdays *The rotating Saturdays is an additional working day on top of the other 4 days you are scheduled*Training Schedule: 1st shift schedule first 2 weeksPay Rate: $21.00/hourShipping Clerk Job Description:Handles a wide variety of paperwork including purchase orders, return authorizations, delivery notes and other shipping documents.Reviews all delivery notes for special instructions and highlights them for material handlers.Directs movement of shipments from shipping and receiving platforms to storage and work areas.Prepares all special labels for customer orders.Provides information to customer service representatives when requested.Helps ensure proper storage, inventory and security of all product stocks.Schedules inbound and outbound loads.Maintains a log of inbound and outbound commercial vehicles.Shipping Clerk Job Requirements:High school diploma or general education degree (GED), required.Previous experience working in a Shipping environment where processing of customer orders was completed, preferred.General knowledge of shipping procedures, a plus.Ability to perform basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.Ability to operate a forklift, preferred.Computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office, SAP and other office equipment.PeopleShare is the leading Staffing Agency in the region and has temporary to hire and permanent jobs across 8 states.
