About the Role:
Our client is seeking a qualified XRay Technologist to provide mobile XRay and EKG services to nursing homes healthcare facilities and other miscellaneous locations. This role involves performing and processing XRays using portable digital radiography equipment conducting EKGs and ensuring smooth communication with patients staff and management.

Your Mission:

  • Perform and process XRays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and transmit them to a Radiologist for interpretation.
  • Unload and transport portable XRay equipment to various facilities to conduct exams ordered by physicians.
  • Perform EKGs as needed and transmit the results to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
  • Scan examrelated paperwork and billing documents daily in accordance with protocol.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch management and peers while maintaining professional interaction with clients and supervisory staff.
  • Maintain and ensure the readiness of the vehicle and XRay equipment for use.

  • Technical Expertise: Expertise in operating portable radiography equipment.

What You Bring:

  • ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Required.
  • 1 years of experience in Radiology Mammography Echocardiography (echo) or Electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG).
  • Valid Regular Drivers License (DL).
  • Uptodate COVID19 vaccination or proper exemption documentation.

Skills Required:

  • Mobile Radiology: Expertise in using portable XRay equipment.
  • EKG Procedures: Experience performing and interpreting electrocardiograms.
  • Patient Care: Ability to professionally interact with patients and healthcare staff.
  • Radiography Software: Familiarity with radiography and diagnostic imaging systems.

Certifications:

  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification Required.
  • State Licensure in Radiologic Technology Required.
  • Limited license not accepted.

Education:

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Completion of a stateapproved radiologic technologist program.

Work Environment & Benefits:
Competitive hourly rate: $28.00 $33.00.
$5000 SignOn Bonus.
Shift differential of $1.50 for hours worked between 3:00 PM 7:30 PM.

Schedule and Shift Details:
Varies as needed with shift differentials available for hours between 3:00 PM 7:30 PM.
Rotating weekends oncall and holidays as required.

Physical Demands:
Must be able to push/pull 50100 lbs with assistance.
Equipment handling may involve up to 24 cycles of pushing/pulling daily depending on facility locations.
