What You'll Do:

As a Traveling Construction Superintendent with our company, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects at multiple sites, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires extensive travel and the ability to manage and coordinate subcontractors, laborers, and other stakeholders effectively. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of construction processes and industry standards.

• Provide on-site leadership and supervision to ensure that construction projects meet quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to develop and implement project schedules and work plans.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Manage subcontractor performance and resolve disputes or conflicts that may arise during construction.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure adherence to project requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily reports, photos, and progress documentation.
• Participate in project meetings, including pre-construction meetings, progress meetings, and closeout meetings, to ensure effective communication and coordination.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience as a construction superintendent or similar role, with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects.
• Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and address client concerns effectively.
• Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel extensively and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by project schedules.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings.
