Pay: $20-$35 per hour, DOE

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist / Setup to join our team in Wright City, MO. This full-time position plays a key role in producing precision metal parts for the aerospace industry. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC machining and setup, working with a variety of metals to meet exacting aerospace specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machines (mills and/or lathes) to manufacture parts to specified tolerances and quality standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documentation to determine machining operations.
  • Select and load appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each job.
  • Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy and quality.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machinery.
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards within the aerospace manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in CNC machining and setup, ideally within aerospace or precision metals.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical documents.
  • Strong attention to detail, with experience in quality control and inspection processes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic machine maintenance.
  • Familiarity with measurement tools and gauges commonly used in machining.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.
