A reasonable estimate of the current range is: Grade: Services 205 Pay Range: $20.33 - $29.51Job Description:As a Payment Solutions Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting student success by helping learners navigate tuition payments and account balances. Your work will directly impact student satisfaction, retention, and graduation outcomes by providing clear, proactive solutions to financial challenges. The Specialist will assist in the overall accounts receivable functions of the Bursar Office, using a proactive and creative approach to payment plans, student account solutions, and receivables.What You'll Do:Communicate with students using multiple channels to resolve tuition balance concernsAssist students with setting up and managing payment plansTroubleshoot payment and account issues with empathy and efficiencyCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to complete daily processesManage all communications related to tuition payments and account balancesRespond promptly and professionally to inquiries from students and colleaguesProvide clear, supportive guidance to students navigating financial processesWhat You'll Bring:Associate's Degree1 year of experience in student accounts, finance, or accounting, preferably in higher education1 year of experience with Excel, reporting, and analysisStrong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to handle high call volumes and demanding situationsProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsBonus Points if You Have:Bachelor's DegreeExperience with student information systems such as BannerFamiliarity with federal financial aid regulationsExperience in lieu of education equivalent relevant experience performing the essential functions of this job may substitute for education degree requirements.
