Recruitment Coordinator

Our client is a top AMLAW 200 firm with a fantastic company culture and stellar benefits. They are seeking an Attorney Recruitment Coordinator to assist with relevant programs and events and support the Attorney Recruitment efforts. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience in Attorney Recruitment Coordination at a large law firm.
This role is hybrid with 4 days in office, 1 day remote
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Senior Recruiting Manager (SRM) to fulfill attorney hiring targets for the New York office, providing comprehensive support throughout the process.
- Oversee the entire summer associate program, including onboarding new associates, managing the work assignment system, coordinating mentor pairings, organizing and attending social events, and handling mid- and end-of-summer reviews.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key law school contacts involved in On-Campus Interviews. This includes registering for On-Campus Interviewing events, collecting resumes, scheduling and conducting interviews, tracking candidate progress, evaluating applications, and managing NALP shared recruiting expenses.
- Interact directly with students and lateral attorney candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Schedule and facilitate hiring committee meetings, including the preparation and distribution of relevant materials.
- Plan and execute law school recruiting events and outreach activities, liaising with student affinity groups and managing sponsorship requests.
- Contribute to the Office of Inclusion & Diversity's initiatives and goals.
- Coordinate the logistics of various events, such as securing vendor contracts, managing budgets, planning menus, setting up rooms, and providing on-site support as needed.
- Keep the applicant database current, create and maintain candidate files, send status updates, conduct audits, and manage candidate communication.
- Deliver general administrative support by managing expenses, organizing calendars, scheduling meetings and travel, monitoring emails, facilitating interdepartmental communication, and ensuring confidentiality and trust within the team.
- Support the NY Associate Mentor Program by assisting co-leaders with program activities and initiatives.
- Take part in recruiting department meetings and assist the SRM and/or firmwide recruiting team with additional projects and tasks as necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of four years of related experience.
- Experience in law firm recruiting or professional service recruiting
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of viGlobal Suite is a plus.
