Job Duties:

  • Design and implement control strategies to optimize plant operations using automation technology.
  • Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to enhance plant performance through effective automation solutions.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for control systems and processes.
  • Define requirements for instruments, control equipment, and analyzers.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with plant control systems, developing repair strategies as needed.
  • Oversee programs to ensure the reliability and performance of plant control equipment.
  • Provide guidance on procurement and application of control equipment for projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years in a process controls or instrument engineering role.
  • Experience with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Reliance Electric DC drives, Benshaw RVSS, MicroMotion Mass Flow Meters.
  • Knowledge of process industry standards and codes (NEC, NFPA etc.).
  • Proven track record supporting process controls in a production environment.
  • Experience designing for and working in classified locations
  • Capital project development and execution.
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Wonderware, Recipe Management Systems, and Flow Control.
