In-Flight Crew Connections is seeking an AOG Technician for a fleet of Lear 55 Aircraft. This opportunity is focused on the Midwest location but is not limited to and may require travel to locations around the United States.

Responsibilities and Duties of an Aircraft Technician

  • Perform line maintenance on a fleet of Lear 55 aircraft
  • Inspecting aircraft parts and components for wear or damage prior to any repairs
  • Diagnosing problems accurately and quickly resolving them while on-site
  • Overnight maintenance checks, including A and B checks, along with non-routine heavy maintenance.
  • Conducting repairs to faulty parts or components without compromising the integrity of the aircraft
  • Keeping detailed records of all repair and maintenance activities
  • Requires knowledge of inspection procedures set forth in FAR Part 145. Responsible for ensuring documentation procedures are accomplished as required in FAR 43 and all other applicable FARs
  • Must understand and be willing to work a schedule that varies week to week; including job location and days/hours.
  • Must be willing to work weekends and/or holidays in order to return the aircraft to service, as needed.
  • It is anticipated that overnight travel will happen regularly.

Qualifications

  • A&P license required
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, and phase inspection experience as an A&P Mechanic
  • Must be able to obtain an Airport Security Badge through the local airport authority (if applicable)
  • Must be able to read and interpret Maintenance Manual, Illustrated Parts Catalogues, Structural Repair and Wiring Diagram System Schematics, and use ATA codes.
  • Valid State Driver’s License
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid US Passport
