Construction Inspector/CheckerWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Construction Inspector/Checker to oversee and inspect water and sewer utilities, treatment plants, water storage facilities, civil site work, and commercial buildings across the Statesboro, GA region. This role offers a company vehicle, flexibility to work from home with limited office visits, and the chance to play a key role in ensuring projects meet specifications and quality standards.What You'll Do:Inspect and monitor construction projects for compliance with plans and specificationsOversee work related to sewer, water, treatment plants, storage tanks, and site/civil projectsMaintain daily logs, inspection forms, and provide reports to engineers/ownersDocument work progress through photos and as-built drawing updatesAct as the engineer's representative in the field, coordinating with contractors and project ownersWhat We're Looking For:Minimum 5 years of inspection or construction supervision experienceExperience with water and sewer utilities, treatment plants, and civil/site workAbility to read and interpret construction plansE&S Level 1A Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)Strong communication and problem-solving skillsCompensation & Details:Pay: $21 $30/hour (6-month temp-to-perm)Hours: Monday Friday, 8am 5pmLocation: Statesboro, GA area with travel throughout nearby counties (company vehicle provided)Benefits upon conversion: 100% paid medical insurance for the individual
