This role emphasizes patient trust, accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism while supporting clinical and forensic specimen collection in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and specimen collection safely and accurately for patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations. Prepare specimens for laboratory testing in accordance with established procedures. Verify patient demographics and specimen labeling, obtaining patient signatures post-collection. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Perform daily tasks accurately and on time under direction of the area supervisor. Maintain a safe, professional, and confidential patient service environment. Travel between Patient Service Centers and in-office locations as business needs dictate. Demonstrate strong customer focus, professionalism, and organizational commitment. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (required) 3+ years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections Strong ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record (if applicable) Ability to travel between multiple locations with minimal notice Preferred Qualifications Medical Assistant or Paramedic training Phlebotomy certification (required in CA, NV, and WA; preferred elsewhere) Experience in a Patient Service Center environment Customer service experience in retail or service settings Keyboarding and data entry experience Credentials & Licensing State of Credentials Required: Texas Work Environment Patient Service Centers, physician offices, and mobile settings Training locations may vary based on trainer availability Benefits Medical Insurance Vision Insurance Dental Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan About the Company A leading provider of diagnostic information services, empowering healthier lives through insights derived from one of the world's largest clinical laboratory databases.
