Senior Occupancy PlannerAs Senior Occupancy Planner, you will provide strategic occupancy planning expertise, leveraging a deep understanding of our client's space supply and demand to develop scenario and occupancy plans for our client's portfolio in a designated region. Responsibilities include fostering relationships between various individuals and organizations, such as Corporate Real Estate, Business Unit leadership, Corporate Finance, Project Management, Move Coordination and Facility Management teams, and other members of the occupancy planning team. Your primary focus areas will be managing the development of occupancy plans, sequencing group-level and individual moves, and resolving planning issues identified during client planning sessions. You will ensure the alignment of planning with corporate guidelines and that all scenarios maximize the use of space. You will recommend, educate, and enforce space policies/standards, procedures, and protocols, notify the client of customer-requested exceptions, and, as necessary, assist in developing site-specific Planning Strategies with Senior Leadership. You will be a Subject Matter Expert in the client's workplace program and in using data to drive solutions that increase productivity. You will be a leader in the Occupancy Planning and account team, modeling superior client relationship management and strategic thinking.Reporting will include getting familiar with space utilization methods and the presentation of utilization data. Interacting with organizational leadership, you will identify space requirements and prepare and update project status reports on actual versus projected seat demand at the building level. In addition, you will report on current supply and capacity, forecast inventory changes as required, and work with the client to reconcile any discrepancies from top-down projections. You will need to be proactive and innovative in developing solutions with your stakeholders and driving their implementation. You will be comfortable using software to support planning solutions and communicate ideas clearly with the planning team and client. This includes having advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot table, vlook-up, cell calculations), proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to consolidate data and floor plans into PowerPoint Presentations. Experience with CAFM / IWMS software and proficiency in space planning and AutoCAD are also required. Excellent communication skills are important both written and spoken. An individual with strong interpersonal skills, able to understand complex ideas and communicate them to others, and an ability to interact with executive-level external and internal clients will be successful in the role. Your intellectual curiosity towards digital drive, hunger for learning, and urge to meet deadlines are also important.Job Specifications include the ability to lead through influence, expert level data analytical skills and ability to articulate stories through data, attentiveness to detail and accuracy - particularly numbers and spatial creativity, high organization and performance in project budgeting and scheduling, a working knowledge of occupancy utilization, office design principles and trends such as the mobile or collaborative workplace, tech savvy with Google Suite, Power BI, IWMS/CAFM, and AutoCAD, and a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Design, Construction Management, or related field.
