Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site client role for a Senior DevOps Engineer in Plano, Texas USA. The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for tasks such as developing infrastructure as code, software development, continuous integration, system administration, and working with Linux systems.


Job Description:We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong background in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), containerization, infrastructure automation, and security integration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines, as well as hands-on experience with cloud services like CloudFront, S3, RDS, and Route 53. Additionally, knowledge of security tools such as SAST, DAST, SonarQube, and container security solutions is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS and Azure.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment and integration processes.
  • Manage and configure cloud services, including CloudFront, S3, RDS, and Route 53.
  • Implement and manage containerization using Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to automate and manage cloud infrastructure.
  • Perform SQL database operations, including backup and restore, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Integrate security tools such as SAST, DAST, SonarQube, and container security solutions into the CI/CD pipelines.
  • Implement and maintain security measures, including Imperva for web application security.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, security, and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
  • Document processes, configurations, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps technologies, cloud features, and industry best practices.



Qualifications

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and System Administration skills
  • Software Development and Continuous Integration experience
  • Proficiency with Linux systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
