About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Quality Control (QC) Manager to oversee construction quality and compliance for a K-12 school project in Yuma, AZ. The QC Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all work meets project specifications, applicable codes, and the general contractor’s quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement the Project Quality Control Plan in coordination with project management and site supervision teams.Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to verify compliance prior to construction activities.Conduct daily inspections of work in progress and document results using company QA/QC software.Identify and track non-conformance issues, coordinate corrective actions, and verify close-out.Oversee material testing, third-party inspections, and commissioning activities.Maintain accurate and organized records of inspections, tests, and certifications.Collaborate with the Superintendent, Project Manager, and Subcontractors to prevent quality issues.Participate in pre-construction meetings, progress meetings, and punch-list inspections.Ensure all work complies with local building codes, project specifications, and safety standards.QualificationsMinimum 5–7 years of quality control experience in commercial or institutional construction (school construction experience preferred).Knowledge of local and state building codes and construction best practices.Strong understanding of construction drawings, submittals, and specifications.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Procore, or similar project management software.OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurance
