As a Global Supply Manager, you will play a critical role in developing sustainable, resilient supply chains for bio-resin feedstocks and chemicals that support Apple's environmental goals and ensure continuity of supply for future products.DescriptionSuccessful GSMs combine strong commercial ownership with technical depth and cross-functional collaboration. In this role, you will define and implement Apple's global sourcing strategy for resin feedstocks and chemicals, identifying, evaluating, and qualifying new sources worldwide. You will design sourcing solutions to mitigate geopolitical risk, ensure geographically independent supply, and act as Apple's subject matter expert on feedstock and chemical markets.ResponsibilitiesYou will own commercial supplier relationships, lead negotiations, and establish contracts that meet Apple's cost, quality, and sustainability objectives. You will also develop indicators to measure and manage supplier performance. Partnering with Material GSMs, Product Design Materials Engineering, and environmental teams, you will ensure materials meet Apple's stringent technical and sustainability standards for mass production qualification.Minimum Qualifications7+ years of experience in global supply chain management, sourcing, or chemicals/materials engineering.BS in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field. MBA preferred.Flexibility to travel internationally up to 25%.Preferred QualificationsDeep knowledge of resin feedstocks, polymers, or chemical supply chains (bio-based and recycled preferred).Proven ability to identify, qualify, and scale new material supply sources.Strong commercial, negotiation, and analytical skills.Cross-functional leadership and communication excellencePay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $213,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
