Roadway And Bridge InspectorsRK&K is seeking talented Roadway and Bridge Inspectors to work in and around Nashville, Tennessee. Our Construction, Engineering, and Inspection Division manages and supports mid-large CEI design, design-build, and inspection projects across the USA. Inspectors should have 2+ years of experience working on DOT and/or other Local agency construction programs.Essential Function: The ideal candidate for this position will work independently with Tennessee Department of Transportation and contractors while being responsible for:Work on various roadway and bridge projects within the region's geographic areaOversight of contractor's quality control operationsQuality Assurance sampling and testingCompletion of Daily Sampling and Testing ReportsData input in SiteManager/LIMSDaily communication with client, contractor, and field project personnelRequired Skills and Experience:2 years of prior experience providing QA servicesCandidates must be trustworthy and responsibleMust have a solid background in mathematicsUnderstand how to read and follow test specificationsExcellent driving recordPreferred Skills and Experience:TDOT Asphalt Plant TechnicianTDOT HMA Certified Roadway InspectorAggregate TechnicianTDOT Concrete Plant TechnicianNuclear Gauge Field TechnicianOther Duties: This job description indicates the general nature and levels of work, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other essential functions (as covered under ADA).
