Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with possible overtime. Qualifications include holding a valid CDL, being at least 21 years of age, meeting and maintaining qualifications for CDL requirements, following all DOT standards and regulations, possessing a DOT medical card or the ability to acquire a DOT medical card, ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs, a background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus, strong communicator with a customer-focused approach, and able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads. Responsibilities include delivering materials to the customer, which includes assistance with loading and unloading and ensuring delivery of ticket with material, picking up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests, performing daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fueling the truck as needed, and reporting any problems or issues to supervisor, following and implementing all company safety policies and procedures, assisting warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material, ability to work overtime as needed, and must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs. Pre-employment drug and background screening required.
