Scientist II

JobGet Staffing is looking for (Exton) Lab Services LLC is seeking a Scientist II with a track record of research excellence and molecular biological assay development experience to join the bioassay team. This team is pioneering innovative Cells and Gene Therapy (CGT) testing capabilities for the treatment of various diseases.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Preparing and maintaining cell cultures and reagents.
• Performing the transfection and transduction following the protocols.
• Conducting studies using molecular biology assays, such as qPCR, RT-qPCR, ddPCR, DNA/RNA purification, and ELISA.
• Planning and conducting experiments under the direction of a senior scientist of higher.
• Documenting all results and procedures in laboratory notebooks and/or assay spreadsheets.
• Performing data processing and review for self-generated results and for peers.
• Interacting with members from cross functional teams and attending meetings reviewing project progress.
• Authoring protocols, technical summary reports, SOPs, Reports.
• Training other Scientists and assist in developing training plans.
• Maintaining accurate records in multiple internal databases.
• May serve as PI and SD as needed in areas of their expertise.

Qualifications:

• Degree (B.S. or M.S.) in microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry, pharmacology or related field.
• 3-5 years of related experience.
• Experience with cell culture, qPCR, dPCR, and/or ddPCR analysis required.
• Experience with RNA/DNA isolation and analysis is preferred.
• Experience with high throughput analysis preferred.
• Experience with ELISA and Flow cytometry is preferred.
• Ability to work independently, and as part of a collaborative team.
• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong technical acumen.
• Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
