OVERVIEWJOB TITLE: Graduate Admissions- Graduate Student Assistant LOCATION: St. Paul Campus PAY RATE: $16.00/hour HOURS: 12-16 per week JOB SUMMARY The Centralized Graduate Admissions Team at St. Thomas is looking to hire dependable and detail-oriented Student Workers to support our team. The position involves various tasks aimed at assisting the graduate admissions process and will play a critical role in contributing to the success of our graduate programs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Respond to inquiries in admissions inboxes, providing timely and accurate information. Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills. Meet with prospective graduate student walk-ins, conduct campus tours. Update and maintain accurate records of applicant status and communications in the admissions database. Act as a contact for prospective students, offering information about application procedures, program requirements, and deadlines. Address inquiries from prospective students via phone, in person, and electronically. Assist in analyzing data and generating reports. Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of applicants, students, faculty, and staff. Assist recruiters with the planning and execution of recruitment events, such as open houses, information sessions, and campus visits. Manage social media accounts and other online platforms to promote graduate programs. Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by the Graduate Admissions Team. QUALIFICATIONSAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. Familiarity with SalesForce CRM is a plus. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). WORK SCHEDULES Flexible hours, with an expectation of 12-16 hours per week. Hybrid position with mostly in-person hours, and some remote hours. This is a year-round opportunity.
