Responsibilities:

  • Design and implementation of various mainframe tech solutions
  • Support and Lead maintenance activities, releases, and major OS upgrades.
  • Interact with customer and provide regular management reports / analysis.
  • Work with IBM and other Independent Software Vendors on a regular basis to implement solutions
  • Responsible for evaluating, planning, installing, and maintaining the z/OS Operating system and related software products.
  • Develop operational standards; provide technical assistance to application developers and operations personnel.
  • Assists in evaluating and selecting major software and hardware subsystems for operational efficiency and to reduce operating costs. Lead software upgrades and maintenance activities.
