Primary Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Alternate/Related Job Titles: SLP - Skilled Nursing Facility Clinical Speech Pathologist Speech Therapist - Long-Term Care Rehabilitation Speech Pathologist SLP - Geriatric Care Location: Watertown, NY Onsite Flexibility: Onsite (with floating between two facilities) Job Details: Position Type: Direct Placement (Full-Time) Pay Rate: $65/hr Shift/Hours: Full-Time Days, Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our long-term care team at Samaritan Keep Home. You'll play a vital role in improving residents' quality of life by delivering high-quality speech therapy services across two facilities, including Samaritan Summit Village. Key Responsibilities: Perform initial evaluations and re-evaluations of residents. Design and implement customized speech therapy programs as referred by physicians. Supervise and support therapy assistants and ancillary staff. Provide cross-coverage between two long-term care facilities as needed. Required Experience: Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in New York State Current BLS certification 1 year of SLP experience highly preferred (not required) Nice-to-Have Experience: Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities Multi-site or floating facility coverage experience Required Skills: Patient evaluation and therapy planning Speech and language rehabilitation Documentation and treatment tracking Preferred Skills: Team collaboration and staff supervision Geriatric and long-term care specialization EMR familiarity in rehab settings Additional Skills: Ability to float between two facilities Resident-centered communication Experience with multi-disciplinary rehab teams Benefits: $10,000 Sign-On Bonus (with 2-year commitment) OR Loan Forgiveness - up to $15,000/year for 4 years 401k with match Full health benefits beginning 1st of the month after 30 days 24 days of PTO in first year Long-term disability and life insurance available About GTT: GTT is a minority-owned staffing firm and a subsidiary of Chenega Corporation, a Native American-owned company in Alaska.
