As a Speech Therapist within Home Health, you will play a vital role in assessing and evaluating patient care needs related to speech and language disorders. Your expertise will guide in developing treatment plans and executing interventions that enhance patient well-being and communication abilities. Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech therapy services in accordance with state laws, the plan of care, and in collaboration with healthcare team members. Evaluate patients’ functional levels using diagnostic tests, assisting physicians in developing tailored therapy plans. Implement effective communication strategies, adapting your approach to the individual needs of each patient. Monitor and document patient progress, providing updates to the supervising nurse and/or physician. Educate patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members on speech therapy processes and techniques. We offer a competitive salary of $71,200 to $127,200 per year for full-time employment, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, a 401k plan, stock options, and various incentive programs.
