About the Company:American Engineering is adding May 2026 civil engineering graduates to our team who are eager to be part of a growing engineering firm which works on interesting and challenging projects.Not sure exactly what type of civil engineering you want to do? We might be a fit for you. We don't pigeon-hole our staff, especially our new grads. You may get a chance to work on a variety of project types.We have reasonable expectations of our new grads. We stress collaboration and sharing of teammates between our departments.About the Role:Our new colleagues will be working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering set to graduate in May 2026. New staff will be part of engineering design teams in Land Development, Transportation or Municipal/Infrastructure Departments.Responsibilities:Embrace the hands-on American Academy training programHave an intellectual curiosityAsk a lot of questions of the numerous PEs on the teamWork on a variety of project typesCollaborate and share with teammates between departmentsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an Abet-Accredited program.Minoring or Interest in transportation, land development, or water resources.Graduating May 2026No experience necessary but relevant internship experience highly encouraged.Required Skills:Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skillsPreferred Skills:Introduced to software such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, MicroStation, or OpenRoads DesignerAdditional InformationFor more than 50 years, American Engineering has been delivering solutions with our clients in mind.
