Now, Meta is moving beyond 2D screens toward immersive experiences like augmented and virtual reality to help build the next evolution in social technology.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, design, create, modify, and/or test mobile and desktop web software applications or systems.Architect efficient and reusable front-end systems that drive complex web applications.Implement features and user interfaces to optimize performance of user-facing products.Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to deliver compelling user-facing products.Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.Minimum QualificationsMaster's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.Requires 3 years of experience in the following:Building mobile and desktop web applications using JavaScript, including asynchronous programming, closures, types, and ES6.HTML or CSS including layout, specificity, cross browser compatibility, and accessibility.Browser APIs and optimizing front end performance of web-based applications.Front end development of mobile and desktop applications using React, Vue or Angular.Debugging or benchmarking.Writing code for User Interface components, ANDBuilding tools, linting and formatting of the codebase.$230,882/year to $240,240/year + bonus + equity + benefitsIndividual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
