Syndications Credit AnalystAt Ascentium Capital, the Syndications Credit Analyst is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating credit in addition to gathering, inputting, and examining customer financial data with the aim of securing financing through outside lending partners. This position also prepares loan origination packages, submits to lenders and manages the decision, documentation and funding processes.Ascentium Capital, a division of Regions Bank, provides convenient access to financing for business equipment and technology and serves small organizations to Fortune 500 companies with programs that benefit manufacturers, distributors and direct to businesses nationwide. We strive to be the premier provider of customized finance programs that add value to our customers' businesses.Primary ResponsibilitiesReviews, analyzes, and evaluates creditGathers, inputs, and analyzes customer financial dataPre-screens applicants to determine credit worthinessWorks with syndicate partners to attain credit approvalPrepares lease/loan origination packages for internal/external underwriter reviewsGenerates lease/loan documents in an accurate and timely manner to maintain the established business processManages internal and external sales transactions through the funding processFosters an open dialogue and strong working relationships with the Sales Representatives, Intermediary Sources, Potential Customers, Vendor Service Representative Department, Customer Service, Asset Management Group and other groups to ensure internal and external customer satisfactionPartakes in the assessment of lease/loan product goals/objectives to optimize utilization of human and financial resources to achieve corporate financial goalsWorks closely with the senior management on all business opportunities and issues related to the lease and loan productProvides input, feedback, and recommendations to senior management for enhancement of the lease and loan productParticipates in meetings with other units/departments to provide input and improve the processThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.This position is incentive eligible.RequirementsBachelor's degree or equivalent in related fieldOne (1) year of related experiencePreferencesBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or related fieldBusiness to business lending or related industry experienceSkills and CompetenciesAbility to manage multiple prioritiesAbility to learn additional systems as neededAbility to research, analyze data, and derive factsAbility to work in a team environment when applicableAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)Strong attention to detail and proof-reading skillsStrong verbal, written communication, and organizational skillsStrong work ethic and self-motivationThis position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.Full timeCompensation DetailsPay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.Job Range Target: Minimum: $49,505.45 USD Median: $66,144.90 USDThis role is eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan.
