General Internal Medicine - Outpatient (M67266)

The Division of General Internal Medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) is seeking a full-time board-certified Internist to provide primary general internal medicine care in the context of a multidisciplinary program in the Division of General Internal Medicine. This position will be the inaugural physician provider and leader of a team-based community care model and have significant opportunity to help shape the development and trajectory of this primary care model at VCU.
The candidate must qualify for an appointment at the Clinical Professor level. She/he must demonstrate experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff and student environment or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at Virginia Commonwealth University. The successful candidate will spend the majority of their time as a major provider in the outpatient clinic area.

It includes the 780 bed MCV Hospitals and outpatient clinics, MCV Physicians - a 900 physician-faculty group practice and the health sciences schools of VCU. We offer state-of-the-art care in more than 200 specialty areas and we are the regions Level 1 Trauma Center.
