Rev Group is a veteran friendly employer and hires over 200 veterans and or those transferring out of the military each year.What a day in the life of an Electrician at REV looks like:Assemble Under dash harnesses, switch panels, circuit boards, and a variety of different electrical componentsProgramming the lights from engineering specsTroubleshoot 12V DC and 110V AC circuitryTest products to ensure performance to specificationsReading specs to make sure the trucks are built per specPerform functionality checks on airhorns, sirens, light packages, flash patterns, door locks Etc.Fix quality issuesRequired education, skills, and experience to be successful:Preferred 1-2 years of automotive electrical experience in a manufacturing environmentPreferred high school diploma or GEDAbility to read and understand engineering drawings and layouts with written and verbal instructionsAbility to understand both 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry.Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurementsAbility to use common hand tools and power tools such as drills, and screw gunsMust have the ability to read, write, and perform mathematical computations at a level required for successful job performanceAbility to communicate professionally and follow directionsAbility to work in a team environmentSuccessful completion of the drug and background screeningPhysical demands of this role:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
