If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic & Business AnalysisDevelop and analyze business cases, engagement models, and capital investment strategies for powertrain projectsConduct market research, competitive benchmarking, and scenario analysis to support long-term powertrain planningIdentify operational inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities across the powertrain organizationOperational & Financial ModelingBuild data-driven financial models to assess the impact of engineering decisions, manufacturing investments, and cost structuresSupport budget planning and forecasting for powertrain programs in collaboration with finance teamsDevelop resource planning models to optimize headcount, capital expenditure, and operational workflowsData Analytics & Performance TrackingCreate dashboards, reports, and KPIs to track powertrain performance, cost efficiency, and operational metricsAnalyze cost trends, program efficiency, and risk factors to provide actionable insights for leadershipLeverage data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) to present key findings and recommendationsCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with engineering, finance, corp. facilities, supply chain, and leadership teams to drive business improvementsSupport executive reporting, presentations, and strategic decision-making with data-driven insightsAct as a liaison between powertrain leadership and corporate strategy teams to align business objectivesQualifications & SkillsRequiredBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field5+ years of experience in business analysis, financial modeling, strategic planning, or operationsStrong understanding of powertrain systems, EV industry dynamics, and manufacturing operationsProficiency in Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar data analytics toolsExperience in business case development, cost modeling, and scenario analysisExcellent communication and presentation skills for cross-functional collaborationPreferredExperience in the EV industry, automotive sector, or consultingFamiliarity with CAPEX/OPEX planning, investment analysis, and cost optimizationKnowledge of supply chain logistics, manufacturing processes, and operational efficiency metricsStrong problem-solving mindset with the ability to work in fast-paced, data-driven environmentsSalary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid's equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)Base Pay Range (Annual): $113,000 - $155,320 USD
